Max has trained for over 16 years in all styles of dance at institutions including Tanya Pearson Academy, The McDonald College, and The Australian Ballet School (Interstate Training Program/Invitee).
Originally from Sydney, Max recently graduated with a Bachelor of Music Theatre from the Elder Conservatorium of Music, University of Adelaide. Prior to this, he completed a Diploma of Musical Theatre at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). As a performer, Max made his professional debut at the age of 11 – playing Jeremy Potts in the Sydney season of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (TML Enterprises).
More recently, he danced for Opera Australia in their 2024 summer season of La Traviata at the Sydney Opera House, and was seen in both the Sydney and Melbourne seasons of La Cage aux Folles (Showtune Productions). Other credits include: La Traviata (State Opera South Australia), L’Hôtel (Adelaide Cabaret Festival) La Bayadère (The Australian Ballet), and Snow White – Winter Family Musical (Bonnie Lythgoe Productions).
He is also about to commence an overseas contract as a dancer for Royal Caribbean International. Max has taught at various dance schools throughout both Adelaide and Sydney, and hopes to continue encouraging young students to find the love and passion for performance that he continues to have.
