WHAT IS NTH DEGREE?
Nth Degree is Canberra's newest dance competition for soloists, duo/trios, troupes and workshop experiences. We are focused on giving dancers the opportunity to perform and learn in an inspiring, fun and safe space.
OUR STORY
Founded in 2023 by Canberra dancer, choreographer and creative Caitie Nilon, Nth Degree Dance Competition was born from a passion for creating events where dancers feel inspired, challenged and celebrated.
After spending more than 12 years immersed in the competition world across Australia and the United States as both a competitor and choreographer, Caitie saw firsthand what makes a competition truly memorable. Those experiences sparked a vision to bring that same excitement, professionalism and sense of community back home to Canberra.
At Nth Degree, we believe every dancer deserves an environment that encourages growth, confidence and excellence. Our goal is to create a high-quality competition experience where studios feel valued, performances are celebrated, and dancers are inspired to step outside their comfort zones and continue raising the bar.
